Keep the loot inside & return the library book & box when you are finished. You must return the box in order to receive the next month’s.  \nRegistration is required & opens on the 1st of each month.  Sign up while supplies last! Teens who do not have a library card are welcome to participate; a non-library book will be provided.  \nOur teen programs are for those entering grades 6-12 in the coming school year. DESCRIPTION:Prepare to go back in time to the age of dinosaurs\, volcanoes\, & the fossils left behind. What do we mean when we say crystals\, stones\, minerals\, & gems?  Are they different? Let’s learn their origin stories & mineral composition as we visit with staff from Hodges Jewelers.  Then\, we’ll walk over for a tour of the jewelry shop…including a behind-the-scenes look at the repair & creation stations there.  From there\, we’ll walk to Quothe the Raven\, where we will unearth the stories of crystals: their properties\, meanings\, & history of how they have been used by people over time.
